Gemini Notebook solves a concrete problem: you have a pile of documents you ought to read but don't have time for. Upload the sources (text, PDFs, web pages, other content) and ask questions across all the material. Notebook answers from your sources rather than general knowledge, which reduces hallucinations and gives you more confidence that what you are reading comes from the actual material.
Notebook is free in the browser with a Google account. Higher limits and more features come with Google AI plans and eligible Google Workspace plans. Features and limits vary somewhat by subscription.
