Copilot in Word

Copilot in Word is most useful when you want to move from a blank page to a usable first draft, or when you want to tidy up text you've already written. It can draft content, rewrite paragraphs, summarise documents and help you structure your writing without doing all of it manually.

What it's best at

The clear strength is getting you moving. If you already have some bullet points, an earlier document, an email or a meeting to work from, Copilot becomes far more useful than when you just ask it to 'write something good'. It also works well for shortening text, adjusting tone and tidying up phrasing that's gone long or messy.
