Copilot in Outlook is one of the Copilot tools that makes sense in a busy day. Email is full of small jobs that eat time: long threads, unclear replies, meeting invites, follow-ups and messages you don't really want to write. Copilot helps most when you want to get from inbox to action faster.
Most of the features in Outlook require Copilot Premium.
The most useful thing is summaries. When an email thread has grown long or messy, Copilot can pull out the main points, decisions and questions. It sounds simple, but it often saves more time than many of the flashier Copilot features.
It's also useful for drafting. You can describe what you want to say or reply, get a first draft, and adjust the tone and length afterwards. For people who write a lot of email every day, this is often more valuable than it sounds. Not because Copilot writes better than you, but because it removes the blank-screen problem and helps you get started.
