Claude for Chrome

Claude for Chrome puts a side panel right in your browser. You open it while you browse, and you can ask questions about what you are looking at without copying text back and forth.

What can you use it for?

Got a long article you don't really have time to read? Select the text or ask Claude to summarize the whole page. It works equally well on news articles, research reports and product reviews.

You can also use it while shopping online. Ask Claude to compare products on the page, check specifications or find the one that fits your needs. Just be aware that Claude tends to suggest the first thing that looks right without digging through every option. Double-check yourself if the choice matters. Claude can fill in forms for you too.
