Claude for Chrome

Claude for Chrome drops a side panel right into your browser. You open it while you browse and can ask questions about whatever you're looking at without copying text back and forth.

What can you use it for?

Have a long article you don't really have time to read? Highlight the text or ask Claude to summarise the whole page. Works just as well on news articles, research reports and product reviews.

You can also use it when you're shopping online. Ask Claude to compare products on the page, check specs or find what fits your needs. Just be aware that Claude tends to pick the first thing that looks right without digging through all the options. Double-check yourself if the choice matters.
